Peachybbies Marshmallow Twist

What I also dubious is that some slime shops don’t give much info about skin allergies. They just say to “oh if you’re allergic to my slimes be careful” or whatever. If people don’t know the ingredients, they can’t know if they’re allergic to them. First-time customers won’t know if they’re allergic or not if you don’t list the ingredients… isn’t that common sense? So, if you have skin allergies or sensitivities, don’t buy from a slime shop unless they list all the ingredients, or at least have good precautions on allergies. The slime shop with “secret” or unstated ingredients could be harbouring some nasties which they refuse to list all in the name of keeping their recipe hidden and earning more moolah – that’s right, they just want money, and don’t actually care about their customers’ health. It’s easier to make your own replicas, and leave out/substitute ingredients you’re allergic to. (i.e. some brands of soap, lotion, activator, etc) Another plus is if you find scents overwhelming and/or they make you sneeze, you can also keep them out. Not only is it safer, but it’s also (usually) cheaper. I will not leak the recipes of slime shops which do actually state their ingredients, and/or which seem humble and fair-priced, and/or worth the money. Rant over, let’s get onto the recipe…

We’re gonna be pulling apart this marshmallow twist slime over at Peachybbies. Sold out at time of this article being written. But when making a replica at home, there is no need to worry about whether 100 people are going seagull over the last chip… container.

Ingredients

  • White Glue
  • Scents – marshmallow and/or pink sugar (SCENT OPTIONAL)
  • Pink food dye/paint
  • 1-2 tablespoons of instant snow
  • Activator
  1. First, pour equal amounts of white glue into two bowls.
  2. Add marshmallow scent into one bowl, and mix it. Into the second bowl, add 1-2 drops of pink food dye/paint, and some pink sugar scent. The scents are optional.
  3. Add 1-2 tablespoons of instant snow into each bowl. Don’t add water, just add it straight into the glue.
  4. Activate the mixtures, until they combine into a pink slime and a white slime.
  5. Swirl them together in a container.
  6. Done! Wasn’t that easy?
This looks like an actual dessert. Nope, it’s a bundle of paint and fake snow held together by school glue and borax.

Peachybbies Yoshi Puff

Yoshi Puff. THIRTEEN DOLLARS for a container of slime? And that’s without the shipping! We don’t think so – we think you deserve this delightful Nintendo-themed slime for a cheaper price. The slime is also sold out at the time of writing this article, so why wait for a restock when you can just make your own? The slime is described as a “soft, super inflating butter slime.” If you like soft butter slimes and Mario, be sure to give this recipe a whirl!

Ingredients:

  • Glue-All
  • Foaming hand soap/wash
  • Lotion
  • Shaving Cream
  • Activator
  • Cornstarch
  • Model Magic (You can either use white, or use green and skip the food coloring unless the final green color isn’t bright enough)
  • Green food dye
  • Red sprinkles
  • Activator
  • Green Grass Scent (Optional)
  1. Pour about half of the Glue-All into a bowl.
  2. Add a few pumps of foaming hand soap.
  3. Add a few pumps of lotion.
  4. Activate it.
  5. Add a very tiny amount of cornstarch – not too much, just a tiny bit! Say around a pinch or two.
  6. If you want a scent, add your green grass scent. If you don’t like scents, leave it out.
  7. You are halfway done! You should have a nice white slime!
  1. Pour about half of the Glue-All into bowl.
  2. Add around 10 pumps of foaming hand soap.
  3. Add a few pumps of lotion, and some shaving cream
  4. Activate that slime. You will get a fluffy slime.
  5. Add a little bit of cornstarch to that fluffy slime. Not pinches this time, but perhaps fill a bowl with cornstarch and keep dipping it in, like you would with instant snow or floam beads.
  6. Use a bit of lotion to soften some Model Magic, then mix that into the slime.
  7. You now have your self-inflating butter slime!
  8. Dye it a bright green. (if the Model Magic you are using is white or the green Model Magic didn’t make the slime bright enough)
  9. Add your green grass scent if you want. This step is not necessary!
  10. You’re done making your slimes – time to assemble!
  1. Place the white and green slimes into a container. Don’t swirl or mix them too much yet.
  2. Sprinkle some red sprinkles over the top.
  3. DONE! Your Yoshi Puff is complete and ready to go!

I hope this recipe works for you 🙂
